THRUST, means:
TO
HARNESS energy wasted on confusion & frustration,
RETAIN students lost due to that frustration,
UNDERSTAND student's strengths/weaknesses using both to improve their understanding,
SUSTAIN momentum by minimizing insecurities & maximizing their confidence, and
TEACH basic skills through application & expectation.
THRUST's mission is to positively impact the readiness, performance, and retention of the historically underachieving students in academic school programs through application and exposure.
THRUST After-School for boys & girls entering grades 5-9
THRUST Summer Program is currently planning for the summer session
-Tuition is $600 (1st)/$550 (2nd)
-Program operates M-F(8:30 amÂ4:30pm), June 7th - July 30th
-THRUSTers can arrive as early as 8:00 am, and leave as late as 5:00 pm
